Martina Cioffi is a visual artist from Como who trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. She works through site specific installation and sculpture, with a focus on ceramics. She has taken part in numerous exhibitions, awards, and residencies. In 2025, she was selected for the 63rd edition of the International Biennial of Contemporary Ceramic Art at the MIC in Faenza. In 2024, she placed second in the Giovanarte award at the monumental complex Ricci Oddi in Piacenza, curated by Chiara Canali, and particip ated in the Sulmona Prize curated by Ivan D’Alberto. In 2023, she was a finalist in the E.ART.H Prize (Verona) with an exhibition curated by Treti Galaxie, was selected for the San Fedele Prize in Milan, and for the Arteamcup Prize at the Fortezza del Prim\u00e0r in Savona (where she received a special award).Her research draws inspiration from a sense of wonder at the transformative and resilient capacity of plant organisms. It develops into a symbolic reinterpretation of the landscape and our indissoluble bond with it. Her imagery seeks to evoke an ancestral connection with a powerful, creative, and fertile nature that has not yet been stripped of its magical breath, aiming for an uncanny aesthetic. Since 2020, she has focused mainly on ceramics, creating site-specific installations. <\/p>\n\n
