Alterazioni Open Call<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Alterazioni <\/strong><\/em>is an artistic and cultural project dedicated to the theme of mental health. Developed as part of YAG’s commitment to supporting and promoting emerging contemporary art<\/strong>, the project aims to create a space for dialogue between artistic research, practices of care, and new ways of representing psychological distress. <\/p>

The project was developed in collaboration with twelve mental health centres<\/strong> across Italy, from Sicily to Piedmont. Within these settings, people receiving care were invited to create artworks, which are now preserved in a permanent digital archive. <\/p>

Through a national open call for artists under the age of 30<\/strong> (as well as students enrolled in public and private Academies of Fine Arts<\/strong> across Italy), emerging artists were invited to engage with these works, fostering a dialogue between contemporary artistic research and practices of care, in which art becomes a space for listening, connection, and transformation.<\/p>

Alterazioni<\/strong><\/em> positions itself as a space for dialogue and research, where contemporary art helps make visible experiences that are often marginalized, fostering a critical exchange between artistic practices, care, and new forms of representation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Following a careful evaluation of the submissions, the jury selected twelve artists whose work stood out for its quality and originality:<\/p>

  7. Laura Serafini <\/strong><\/li>
  8. Zhu Yanfei <\/strong><\/li>
  9. Angela Zanchettin <\/strong><\/li>
  10. Tianyang Huang <\/strong><\/li>
  11. Gabriela Du Bois<\/strong><\/li>
  12. Caterina Incani<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>


    The selected artists will participate in the collective exhibition hosted at YAG\/Garage<\/strong> and will be featured in the project’s annual catalogue.<\/strong><\/p>

    In recognition of the outstanding quality of the submissions received, YAG\/Garage has also decided to award a Special Mention<\/strong> to the following artists, who will also take part in the collective exhibition:<\/p>
