Nora Unda

Born in Santiago de Chile in 1982. Professional sculptor, studied at the University of Chile, specialized in bronze and aluminum foundries. Throughout his career he has been a finalist on several occasions, in recognized national art competitions in which he has obtained outstanding participation with his plasticine reliefs and sculptures inspired by animals and nature. Since 2004 he has developed multiple individual and group exhibitions different galleries, museums, cultural centers and art fairs throughout the country. In recent years in galleries in London, Madrid, Miami and Mexico. He has also worked in production with musicians, collaborations for commercial brands and charitable foundations where he has explored various techniques, media and formats. “My intention is to symbolically reveal the fragility of life, the manipulation of humans around it and the presence of death. For this, I take animals and nature as protagonists, developing interpretations from intuition and reason, under the concept of genetic mutation, obtaining abstract, dreamlike landscapes, defragmentation of reality. At the same time, I seek to interpret rites of union, encounter and love, where there is universal freedom".
