The promotional activity dedicated to young artists continues beyond regional boundaries. Through a series of partnerships that YAG/garage has established with spaces based in other Italian cities, a new phase begins aimed at promoting artists who, over the years, have started their exhibition careers within the Pescara -based gallery. The first appointment will feature Andrea Strizzi and the exhibition Toccare il suono – Impronte sonore, enriched on the opening day by a series of performances.
In recent years, Strizzi has pursued a line of research focused on the theme of the imprint, through the use of different materials. Everything originated with his Academy thesis project, in which the artist presented a work accessible to both sighted and visually impaired audiences: an installation conceived to enhance the senses of touch and hearing.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Chair of Decoration at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera , directed by Professor Sergio Nannicola, and includes the realization of a talk featuring the artist and the students.
