UMANO DISUMANO is the title of the exhibition project dedicated to the work of the master Angelo Colangelo (Penne, 1927). The exhibition proposes a scholarly analysis and a careful reading of Colangelo’s artistic production in relation to the cultural phenomena that shaped Italy (Florence/Rome) and the United States throughout the twentieth century.
Enhancing the exhibition is a volume published by Arsenio Edizioni (Martinsicuro, TE), featuring historicalcritical essays by Ivan D’Alberto, Director of YAG/garage, and Raffaella Perna, Professor of Contemporary Art History at the University of Catania, alongside contributions by authors who have written for some of Angelo Colangelo’s most significant exhibitions: Lara-Vinca Masini, Antonio Gasbarrini, Claudio Cerritelli, Nerio Rosa, Mariano Apa, Luigi Paolo Finizio, and Sabrina Vedovotto .
The initiative was made possible thanks to the support of Carlo Maresca SpA Group, Fondazione Aria, and the companies Desma and Bluserena.
