Nicole Tijoux was born in Santiago, Chile (1981) and lives and works in London. Her Degree in Arts was at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, getting the title in 2005.Then she lived in France for a year where he made his first solo show in 2006 at the Gill Chancereul gallery in Paris. The following 3 years she lived in Argentina were she studied Management of Creatives Industries (Museums, galleries and institutions), and also she continued his international career presenting his works at ArteBA, Buenos aires art fair, and one individual show in 2010 at Gallery Isidro Miranda. Then she returns to Chile in 2011 to study the MA in Arts at the University of Chile, to re-focus into the creative process, which in 2013 was end with a colective degree show. From that year to date Nicole Tijoux has numerous shows in among which stand out: "Sustained Pause" Balmaceda Gallery, Chile in 2013, "MAVI Museum Young Art prize" 2014, "Art and Intervention" in Sao Paulo Brazil 2015. The year 2016 receives the Sam and Adele Golden Foundation Residence Scholarship, in New York USA. Currently Nicole Tijoux works with 2 galleries, one in Spain and the other in Chile.
