Gaia Adducchio was born on December 20, 1979, and lives in Rome. After studying directing at the FAMU national film school in Prague, she won significant awards for both fiction and documentary films. In 2015, she completed her first analog photography project, which was exhibited at Prague Photo in 2016, the same year she received a special mention at the Perugia Biennale of Modern Art. She exhibits her photographic projects in numerous international exhibitions, including Prague Photo, Emerging Talent, the Salon Comparaisons, and the Salon d’Automne in Paris. In 2021, she was the guest of honor at Prague Photo, and in 2022, she participated in prestigious group shows like “When in Rome” at Soho House in Rome. In 2023, her career was crowned with the title of Member of the Salon d’Automne in Paris for her significant artistic contribution.
