Sabina Beta (born in 1998) is an Italian photographer with a background from the Art High School and a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila. During her school years, she took part in photography competitions that led to exhibitions across Italy. She went on to pursue her Master’s degree at the same Academy, where in 2022/23 she also served as a Photography tutor.
Her practice focuses on self-portraiture and the exploration of identity —both individual and collective—often expressed in black and white for strong visual contrast. Her images stand out for their skillful composition and expressive intensity, marking her growing presence within the academic photography scene. She currently lives and works in Abruzzo, continuing to explore themes of identity and memory through a refined and intimate style.
