Esra Doğan

Esra Doğan is a Turkish visual artist born in İznik in 1986, with a multidisciplinary background spanning painting, writing, design, and animation. She currently lives and works in Istanbul, where she continues her artistic and cultural research. Her work is distinguished by the symbolic use of the crow, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s poem The Raven, and by the exploration of themes such as death, rebirth, and wisdom. Her pieces are characterized by a symbolist and surrealist style, with a strong narrative and symbolic component. She has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad.
