Gildo Fantone

Gildo Fantone was born in Rome on August 27, 1976, and grew up in Abruzzo, where he now lives and works in Pescara. After graduating from the Liceo Artistico in Pescara, he earned a degree in Cultural Heritage Conservation from the University of Bologna, with a focus on textile art and Italian design of the 1950s. His work includes painting and mixed media techniques, featuring pieces such as Crying Light (2017), Foggy (2019), and Something in the Sky (2022). In 2023, he created Tree of Multiplicity, a mixed media concept centered on arboreal symbolism. The piece Khaos (2022) delves into primordial themes through ink and acrylic on MDF. Fantone regularly takes part in local art initiatives, with notable exhibitions at YAG/GARAGE and national art fairs. His compositions aim for a fluid dialogue between form, nature, and emotional introspection, exploring tensions between order and chaos through color and painterly mark -making.
