Teresa Ferrara was born in Salerno in 1975. She studied Conservation and Cataloguing of Cultural Heritage at the Istituto Statale d’Arte Filiberto Menna. After graduating, she studied literature and philosophy for a year, continuing her studies in theology. She began painting as a teenager, inspired by German Expressionism, and defines her style as a kind of “figurative Expressionism.” In recent years, she has approached photography, using this medium to capture the symbolic hidden within images, objects, a nd faces, in order to narrate a story or weave a tale that may also contain autobiographical references.
