Benedetta Giampaoli

Benedetta Giampaoli (Recanati, 1997) is a young figurative painter whose work bridges graphic art and painting, thanks to her training at the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino, where she studied printmaking and oil painting on canvas. In 2022 she made her debut with the solo exhibition “Ombre Bianche” at Sottofondo Studio in Arezzo, the result of an open call with over 200 participants and selected by a prestigious jury. In this show, she presented vibrant oils and monotypes such as “Thaumàzein – Gli ustionati,” deeply symbolic works that explore dreams, trauma, and metamorphosis. Her technique is marked by contrasting color schemes, distinctive brushstrokes, and a dialogue between engraver’s marks and painterly matter. In 2024 she took part in the group show “Timeless Land” at the Giampaolo Abbondio Art Gallery in Todi, alongside other under-40 artists, consolidating her career. She currently lives and works in Civitanova Marche, alternating painting with printmaking. Her works create narratives suspended between dream and reality, capable of evoking emotions and prompting reflections on identity and trauma.
