Gabriele Mauro Giuseppe


Gabriele Mauro Giuseppe (Aradeo, Lecce, 1991) lives between Florence and Lecce and holds a degree in Visual Arts and New Expressive Languages from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. His research focuses on the reproduction of the image, exploring its dissemination, interpretation, and reception through illustration, installation, photography, sculpture, and video. He has exhibited in prestigious museums and galleries such as the Museo Novecento in Florence (“Orat et labora, ORO”, 2019), Galleria Gallerat i in Rome (“Turista per sempre”, 2017), and Casa Vuota in Rome (“Con affetto”, 2024–25). He has taken part in important group exhibitions such as “Meta_Fair #2” (Milan, 2022), “Primo Vere” (Florence, 2021), “Video del giorno” at Macro Asilo (Rome, 2018), and “Turista per sempre” (Rome, 2017). His poetics investigate the relationship between cultural icons, media reproduction, and the consumption of images, creating works that reflect on time, space, and the visual experience of inhabiting.

He is currently d eveloping projects articulated in interconnected cycles, ranging from drawing and painting on everyday objects to site-specific installations, establishing a continuous visual, narrative, and reflective path.
