Giulia Macculi graduated with honours in Painting from the Pietro Vannucci Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia in 2024, presenting a thesis in intaglio printmaking and fine art printmaking. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, including the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia as part of the Biennale Sessions programme, and the exhibition Oltre il giardino at Villa del Colle del Cardinale.
In 2024, she was awarded the Second Prize (ex aequo) at the 18th Premio Morlotti–Imbersago. She also completed an internship at the Central Institute for Graphics (Istituto Centrale per la Grafica) in Rome, where she furthered her knowledge of the restoration and conservation of intaglio printing plates.
She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Painting for Art Publishing at the Pietro Vannucci Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia.
