Susanna Sforza

Susanna Sforza (Chieti, 1999) is a visual and conceptual artist whose practice spans a range of media and materials, each selected in response to the specific needs of the work.

Her research originates from an intimate perception of reality and is driven by the possibility of fostering more empathetic forms of coexistence. In recent years, she has focused on the theme of generational legacy, understood as the complex inheritance of genetic, cultural, social, and educational elements passed down—consciously or unconsciously—from previous generations.

Within this investigation, identity emerges as a layered and multifaceted structure, composed of fragments, inheritances, and traces that belong to others. From this accumulation arises the need to process and inhabit inherited visions, traumas, and relational dynamics.

For Sforza, the artistic act becomes a space in which to give form to what remains invisible, seeking a raw yet deeply intimate synthesis with lived experience.
