Ado Brandimarte was born in 1995 in Ascoli Piceno and graduated with honors in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata. He teaches at the Art High School and the Frida Art Academy and directs the independent space “Officine Brandimarte” in Ascoli. His researc h values traditional manual processes, particularly casting in alabaster gypsum, as a poetic and conceptual act.
Among his public works are the monuments dedicated to the earthquake in Accumoli (2017), to the Alpini, and to bone marrow donors (2017–2021). In 2020, he exhibited at the BOOMing Contemporary Art Show in Bologna and at the Biennale of Matera, while in 2023 he curated the group show Antropomachie and held the solo exhibition Tutto ciò che non appare, è. In 2024, he created the urban installation Calco di un’esistenza in Bologna. In 2025, he curated Alter Ego at the Did You See? Festival in Romania, maintaining a dialogue between art, memory, and community.
