Alessandro Armento was born in Cava de’ Tirreni (SA) in 1990. After graduating from the Art High School of Salerno, he earned a degree in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples with a thesis on “From Minor Arts to Industrial Design.” His artistic research ranges from sculpture to installation, with a strong interest in balance, tension, and the connection between objects and concepts.
In 2017, he joined the artist collective damp, with which he has taken part in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad. He has collaborated as a photographer and video artist at Kunstkraftwerk in Leipzig and as an assistant to artist Marisa Albanese. His works have been exhibited in galleries such as Galleria Berga in Vicenza and YAG/Garage in Pescara. He is currently continuing his artistic research, exploring new forms of expression and connections between art and design.
