Annalisa De Luca

Annalisa De Luca, born in Ortona in 1979, lives in Francavilla al Mare with her daughters. For her, the camera is an extension of the senses and a tool for emotional probing. Self-portraiture is her primary expressive field, where the body simultaneously reveals and conceals. Each shot conveys this truth, whether in sharp outlines or in luminous fades. The body becomes a vehicle for radical emotion, capable of physically engaging the viewer. Her production has grown rapidly, defining with strength the theme s of her poetics, which focus on deprivation, the need for love, loss, authenticity, and vulnerability.
