Antonio Salzano (Nocera Superiore, Salerno, 1950) is a self-taught painter whose artistic journey has evolved from figurative work to a geometric abstraction infused with spirituality and metaphysics. Using a language of tonal forms and colors, he creates compositions that evoke transcendent balances. He first exhibited in 1967 and has since taken part in both group and solo shows in cities such as Naples, Milan, Florence, and Bari. Since 2012, he has been a member of the “Astrattismo Totale” movement, and his work appears in collections and specialist magazines. His painting—defined as “total abstraction”—is a synthesis of formal rigor and inner faith.
