Bengü Karaduman

Bengü Karaduman was born in 1974 in Hildesheim, Germany, and lives in Istanbul. A multimedia artist, she trained in set design at Mimar Sinan and in New Artistic Media in Germany. Her practice combines video, animation, performance, sound, and drawing. Sin ce 2009, she has developed works based on her dream diaries, transforming them into immersive installations. She has exhibited in museums such as Istanbul Modern and Borusan Contemporary. Her performances reflect on identity, social roles, and power. She is regarded as an important voice in contemporary Turkish art.
