Cai Yingfei (Xiamen, China) is a performance artist and sculptor based between Hong Kong, Singapore, and now Italy. Trained in traditional Chinese dance and choreography, she received the YaleChina Fellowship and teaches at Singapore Raffles Music College. Her practice ranges from site-specific performances to immersive installations: in 2021 she presented Tessuto at YAG/GARAGE, weaving bodily narratives with organic materials such as hair and sound. Her choreographic path has explored themes of identity, b elonging, and space, with interventions at international festivals in Hong Kong, New Haven, and Taipei. Her work blends memory and the body as a mobile device, investigating social dynamics and intersubjectivity.
