Camilla Cerioni (born in Ancona in 1994) is an interdisciplinary artist who develops projects based on the synesthesia between sound, movement, and image, drawing inspiration from sensory perception and Nordic nature. After earning her BFA in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata (2021), she completed her MFA (2022–24) at the Iceland University of the Arts in Reykjavík. She has taken part in international residencies and workshops: Imatra (Finland, 2018), Porto (Portugal, 2018), Vilnius (Lithuani a, 2020). In 2022, she held her solo show “Reflection” in Ancona and participated in “PA.CE con Chiesi” in Castelnuovo Rangone, in dialogue with Andrea Chiesi. In Reykjavík, she has exhibited performances and video installations at festivals such as Plan B (2021), Rýmd (2022), Flak (2023), Dark Music Days, and Arts Festival (2024). In 2024, she presented the solo exhibition “HYLDÝPI” at the Fine Art Department in Reykjavík. Her synesthetic practice is rooted in performative painting, video, and sound art, aiming for a profound dialogue between art, body, and emotional perception.
