Ermelinda Esposito graduated in 2019 from the Alberto Galizia Institute of Higher Education in Nocera Inferiore. She then enrolled in the Bachelor's programme in Printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, graduating in the 2022–2023 academic year. She is currently continuing her artistic and printmaking research through the Master's programme in Printmaking at the same institution.
Her artistic practice centres on the human figure and its fragmentation as a means of revealing its essential nature. Particular attention is given to gesture, the dense interplay of hatching, and the immediacy of the mark. Her ongoing research investigates the morphology of the human body and explores how to convey its fullness while embracing a measured degree of abstraction.
