Francesca De Marinis, a contemporary artist from Pescara, is known for her eco -pop installations made with recycled plastic, where fruits such as corn, pineapples, and tomatoes take center stage in colorful, highly sensory compositions. In 2021, she exhibited at YAG/Garage in the group show Una rondine non fa primavera, due sì, in dialogue with Pop Art masters like Schifano, Festa, and Fioroni. Her poetics merge irony, environmental advocacy, and aesthetic sensitivity, blending lightheartedness with ecological commitment. Her works reveal a creative ability to reimagine discarded materials, drawing attention to issues such as consumption, sustainability, and collective memory.
A multidisciplinary artist, she collaborates with galleries and experimental spaces, documenting her works through her official Instagram channel. By taking part in projects such as Focus on PAINTING – La giovane pittura italiana (YAG/Garage 2023), Francesca has expanded her expressive scope to include painting and drawing. She currently lives and works in Pescara, continuing to develop artistic practices that reconcile pop creativity, ecological engagement, and dialogue with the history of contemporary art.
