Francesca Laghezza (Taranto, 1995) is an Italian photographer whose work focuses on conceptual self -portraits and intimate scenes of everyday life. After training in photography, she began exhibiting her shots in shows dedicated to young talents. In 2023, she was selected through a national call for Focus on Photography – Young Italian Photography, a group exhibition inaugurated at the YAG/Garage gallery. In this show, aimed at under-40 authors from across Italy, Laghezza presented two works representative of her evocative style. Her artistic signature is characterized by the use of soft lighting and minimal compositions, through which she explores universal personal emotions – from inner chaos to everyday joy. Active on Instagram, she shares fragments of her visual world. Participation in Focus on Photography and other events has allowed her to emerge in the national photography scene, attracting attention to herself and her ever-evolving portfolio.
