Francesco Alberico, born in Pescara in 1996, lives and works between Chieti and Pescara. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila, he took part in numerous residencies and group exhibitions, including The Blind Leading the Blind (2021), Domani, Qui, Oggi (2020, winner of the Accademibac Prize), and C.U.O.R.E. in collaboration with the VIP Project of Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary.
His works—often dedicated to social and environmental themes —favor media such as photography, installation, and participatory processes: series such as I Carcerati, Senzatetto, and Oasi reflect an empathetic narrative of the urban context and the post-industrial landscape. Alberico is also an active member of the Senzabagno collective and participates in local cultural activities, in addition to being a PhD student at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples. His poetics make art a means of civic engagement and c ollective reflection, exploring the dynamics of place and community with environmental and visual sensitivity.
