Francesco Pio Di Meola is a young Italian sculptor born in Cerreto Sannita (BN) on November 29, 1995. After earning his “Master of Art” diploma in Ceramics in 2014 from the State Art Institute “Nicola Giustiniani” in Cerreto Sannita, he enrolled in the Sculpture program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, where he graduated with top honors in 2017.
In September 2017, he took part in the selection for the Art-e – Contemporary Visual Arts Award, chaired in an honorary capacity by Ennio Morricone, winning a special mention in the “Sculpture” category. In 2018, he participated with several sculptures in the “Buongiorno Ceramica” event at the Royal Palace of Caserta.
His works are characterized by an innovative use of ceramics and sculpture, often exploring themes related to nature and memory.
