Giacomo Santini

Giacomo Santini was born in Forlì on August 16, 1994. From childhood, he cultivated a passion for drawing and the various figurative arts. He graduated from the Liceo Artistico e Musicale in Forlì, where, during his studies, he exhibited his first sculpture in May 2011 at the Musei San Domenico in Forlì, in homage to the exhibition “Melozzo e l’umana bellezza.” In the same year, he participated with Prof. D. Masini in the Biennale Giovani in Venice with the performance Crisalide and, on the same theme, presented drawings on paper at the 2013 edition of “Vernice Art Fair” in Forlì.
In 2014, he exhibited a sculpture titled La leggerezza at the Teatro delle Arti in Lastra a Signa (Florence), and in 2015 experimented with marble sculpture at the “Corsanini” studio in Carrara. In April 2016, he showed three works titled Ritratti at the Lyceum in Florence. In May 2016, he organized an Open Studio entitled Fuorisede in Faenza, presenting his latest sculptures in cement, ceramics, terracotta, plaster, and wax.
In June 2016, he took part in an exhibition organized by the professors of the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence at Palazzo dei Pittori in Florence, as well as in the Flowers Project at the Orto Botanico in Florence. In July of the same year, he went to Capalbio for the Confine Project promoted by Prof. Porfidia, and in September participated in the group exhibition Lungarni at Galleria B4 in Bologna with Prof. F. Roviello. On September 22, 2016, he obtained his First-Level Academic Diploma from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence.
