Giulia Mezza, born in 1995, combines scientific methodologies with artistic practice to develop research in the field of art–science. She holds an integrated Master's degree in Chemistry as well as a Master's degree in Art, building a multidisciplinary practice in which scientific rigour and creative exploration are in constant dialogue.
Her research focuses on metamorphic art and the use of smart materials, creating dynamic, responsive works that evolve over time through chemical reactions and environmental factors. Over the past ten years, she has exhibited in numerous venues across Italy and has participated in two artist residencies.
