Giuseppe Golino was born in Maddaloni (CE) in 1996 and lives in Marcianise, Campania. In 2015, he enrolled in the Printmaking program at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, specializing in engraving, where he graduated with top honors (110/110), and is now attending the Master’s program in the same field. Passionate about printmaking techniques, he has adapted his artistic style to methods such as etching, aquatint, linocut, and woodcut, experimenting with various supports like wood and zinc. He has taken p art in national awards and exhibitions, including Capitombolando (Baronissi, 2018 – 3rd place), the XI Biennale di Incisione in Monsummano Terme, and Sette opere per la misericordia in Naples (2019), also being a finalist for the Premio Raffaele Pezzuti (2019).
In 2018, he presented a solo exhibition at the Teatro Ariston in collaboration with the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison (Epochè). Recent works such as Sentirsi sentimento II (2019), Vertigini (2021), and Simposio (2021) display a refined visual language focused on formal precision and emotional depth. Included in the YAG/Garage Italia project for the Campania and Lombardy regions, Golino is one of the emerging young printmakers active in the contemporary art scene.
