Khulekani Msweli, born in 1984 in Vuvulane (Emaswati), is a multidisciplinary artist and visual entrepreneur from Eswatini.
After studying Fashion & Art Design at Manchester Metropolitan University, he founded the sustainable brand JEREMPAUL, collaborating with local artisans to promote art as a responsible and community -based practice. His artistic research embraces installations, photography, and performance, reflecting the tension between tribal culture and modernity. Khulekani was selected as a featured artist in Young African Art – Languages Beyond Borders, a residency and exhibition project curated by YAG/Garage in Pescara (November 9 –17, 2019), representing Eswatini alongside other young African artists. During that experience, he presented works such as Adornment and Hear No Evil, See No Evil…, performative pieces tied to memory and identity. His artistic approach is a dialogue between body, symbol, and territory, aimed at preserving cultural heritage and creating networks for global exchange. Khulekani continues to exhibit internationally, safeguarding ancestral traditions through a contemporary visual lens.
