Krasna Vukasovic (born in 1993 in Santiago, Chile; based in Berlin) is a painter who graduated from the Universidad de Chile (2018) and furthered her studies through masterclasses and a semester abroad at the University of Bologna. Since 2015, she has developed a poetic body of work centered on memory and residual materials, as seen in Palabra y Piedra (Factoría Santa Rosa, Santiago, 2023), where she intervenes on vegetal and photographic supports tied to history. Her oil paintings on fabric and salvaged ma terials explore the expanded sense of time and the fragmented nature of visual memory. She has exhibited in Chile and Germany, taking part in residencies and workshops, and has established herself as a sensitive voice within the contemporary Chilean painti ng scene.
