Luca Guidotti was born in 1999 in San Benedetto del Tronto (Ascoli Piceno).
In 2024, he graduated in Painting – Contemporary Visual Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino.
During his studies, he participated in several exhibitions, including Surprize 2, 3 and 4 at the Centro Arti Visive Pescheria in Pesaro and the Ex-Lanificio Carotti in Fermignano, the 2022 Premio Marche Biennial at the Ducal Palace of Urbino, and the 15th and 16th National Arts Prize, hosted respectively by the Mario Sironi Academy of Fine Arts in Sassari and the Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce.
In 2025, he took part in Oltre il segno, a seminar series organised in collaboration with Coconino Press and SPINE Associazione Culturale in Bari, followed by the exhibitions In viaggio oltre il segno at the A occhi aperti festival in Bologna and Oltre il segno at Spazio Andromeda in Trento. In July 2025, he was a finalist in the My Book – Graphic Novel section of the Myllennium Award at Villa Medici in Rome.
In June 2026, he participated in the Passaporto Artistico residency, curated by the Deep Art collective at Casa Santa Viola in Grezzano (Verona). That same month, his silent illustrated book Ballad was published by Giaconi Editore.
Luca currently lives and works in San Benedetto del Tronto, where he has established his studio in a garage. His practice moves across painting, illustration, and comics, occasionally incorporating hand-drawn 2D animation.
