Martina Drago was born in Palermo on November 9, 1993, and attended the Damiani Almeyda Art High School. She obtained her first-level degree from the Academy of Fine Arts of Palermo. She began her artistic and production journey with the aim of imitating the real and t he visible. However, once she achieved this result, she felt it was not the path most suited to her. Driven by a strong desire for self-expression, she began experimenting with different languages, producing works that retained the same figurative imprint —portraits and human figures—but this time merging background and figure in a more fitting and effective immersion to establish the mood, the main objective of her paintings. She has participated in group exhibitions and became the assistant to international painter Enzo Marino in the creation of a mural in Tusa.
