Nicola Bevacqua

Nicola Bevacqua was born on May 3, 1987, in Catanzaro and lives in Albi (CZ), where he teaches drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts of Catanzaro as an adjunct lecturer. Since 2016, he has taken part in the project I Giardini d’Arte di Via Caravaggio promoted by YAG/Garage in Pescara, with the work Entrata n° zero, now part of the permanent collection.
In 2018, he contributed to Cubo d’Artista and created Segnalatore della Direzione e Velocità dei Venti for YAG/Garage, both of which were also acquired for the permanent collection. That same year, he entered the Benetton Collection with Caricamento in Corso and participated in Herstory is Ourstory. In 2019, he exhibited in the group show Alchimia Archetipica at the Fondazione Sassi in Matera.
In 2021, the Museo Civico di Taverna acquired his site-specific work Quando la terra si fa Entrata. His practice ranges from drawing to sculpture, employing a poetic language that engages with nature, architecture, and the symbolic narrative of origins.
