Rita Capuni (Pescara, 1981) is a fashion designer and artist who merges fashion and contemporary art. After a period in London, she returned to Abruzzo in 2012 to study Fashion Design at the European University of Design in Pescara, fulfilling her dream of starting her own brand. In 2018, she founded the artisanal fashion line RITACAPUNI, focused on slow fashion Made in Italy.
Capuni is known for curating projects that blend art and fashion, such as co -curating the exhibition Fashion – tra moda e arte contemporanea at YAG/Garage in 2023. As an artist, she has participated in group exhibitions including Fuori/Chrome/Fuoricromia (2022) at YAG/Garage Gallery in Pescara, where she presented performative dress-sculptures inspired by the concept of black and white.
Her creative research highlights Abruzzese craftsmanship and the fusion between fashion design and contemporary visual languages, often in collaboration with local artistic initiatives.
