Sara Leghissa is an independent artist based in Milan. Her practice develops primarily in public space, guided by a principle of resource ecology, using what is already available in reality. She creates systems and devices that blend into the context to convey content and reach diverse audiences, employing accessible, everyday technologies. She co-founded the artistic project “Strasse” and has collaborated with various independent artists and collectives. She also co -organizes “Nobodys Business,” a platform for the exchange of practices in performing arts; “NESSUNO,” a space to generate community and resistance through celebration; and “Sauna Never Dry,” a wooden room that produces dry air at high temperatures and becomes a pretext for meetings and collective practices.
