Sophia Ruffini (born July 21, 1997, in Macerata) earned her degree in Decoration from the Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata in 2022, where she is currently completing her specialization in Sculpture and New Technologies. Her artistic practice uses thread as the primary m aterial, creating fragmented bodies and textile installations that question corporeality and the inconsistency of being. She has taken part in residencies such as Spiders (2021) and group exhibitions between Fano and Macerata, showcasing works like Corpo in frammenti and Appendiorgani. More recently, she presented News Chips at the Paratissima art fair in Turin, consolidating her path between textile and digital art.
