Vito Polito, born in Ischia in 1993, earned his Second -Level Diploma in Painting with highest honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples in 2020.
Here, he deepened his study of painting, graphic, and performance techniques through intensive workshop courses. He has participated in national exhibitions and competitions, including Sette opere per la misericordia, winning a scholarship, and has exhibited graphic works in the Cappella Sansevero as part of a project with the Printmaking School.
His research revolves around the concept of the “Void,” inspired by Eastern philosophies and Western movements that have recognized its depth, analyzing the negative as an aesthetic and emotional value. He lives and works between Naples and Ischia, orienting his practice toward an essential and contemplative language based on visual subtraction.
