Giorgio Arteno, born in Naples in 2001, earned a Bachelor's degree in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, where he is currently pursuing a Master's degree. He is also studying Art History and Art Criticism at the University of Salerno.
His artistic practice is driven by the desire to build a bridge between past and present, drawing inspiration from historical traces and memories that are reinterpreted through a contemporary visual language. His research unfolds in a continuous dialogue between tradition and innovation, exploring how the present is deeply rooted in the histories that precede it.
His work originates from the study of artistic sources and from an ongoing dialogue between traditional materials and more experimental approaches.
