Franz Cardone, born in the 1990s in Italy, is a musician and multidisciplinary artist active between Pescara and Milan. Also known as Shigaraki, he founded the solo project of the same name in 2015 after collaborating with the band Sherpa, releasing albums such as Tanzlinde (2016), Tigris & Euphrates (2018), and Land of Corals (2023), in which he explores ambient, IDM, and doomgaze atmospheres. He is bassist and co -writer for Sherpa, taking part in events such as the Roadburn Festival 2019. On Instagram, he also shares his ceramic art practice, confirming his eclectic nature. His work combines sonic experimentation and material expressiveness, ranging from live electronic performances to visual production, merging music and art into a contemporary language. After many live shows and collaborations, Shigaraki continues to define new boundaries between sound, imagery, and form.
