Teodoro Agricola (Siracusa, 2001) earned his Bachelor's degree in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania, where he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Painting and Contemporary Languages. He lives and works between Catania and Siracusa.
His artistic practice is rooted in sculpture, painting, and digital media. His research focuses primarily on the investigation of matter through the lens of a renewed materialism—one that considers matter as living, active, and endowed with agency.
This approach gives rise to works that constantly shift between the microscopic and the macroscopic, seeking to uncover and reveal what lies beyond immediate perception: the invisible structures and intricate networks of relationships that shape reality yet often remain unnoticed.
