Terresa Moses, an American designer and educator, is Creative Director at Blackbird Revolt and Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at the University of Minnesota, as well as Director of Design Justice.
Identifying as a Black queer woman, her research applies design, illustration, and activism to the liberation of Black and Brown communities. Among her most notable projects are the Umbra exhibition, the Naptural project, and the publication Racism Untaught (Fall 2023). She is pursuing a PhD in Social Justice Education at the University of Toronto. Her work fuses aesthetics and social justice, positioning itself as a model of emancipatory design.
